Pleased to meet you.

So I've never been a huge fan of New Years Resolutions, because
I think if you really wanted to make a change in your life of a considerable
size, you would make that decision any day you felt the courage and drive to
do so. I don't think you should have to wait for a certain date.

That being said I've decided what I want to start doing.

I realize over the past few months after several large things have happened in my
life that I never fill my friends and family in on what's currently happening in my
life, so when something big happens I end up having to explain the entire story.
I suppose I have a habit of doing this because I honestly feel like people don't want
to hear about my problems, so it might take some getting used to, but I want
to start making an effort.

And I will be doing my best to abide by this quote over the next short while and
see how it ends up working for me:

"If not now, then when?"

always,

Jacob

I guess I'll find out in 17 days.

I had a dream a few nights ago that really made me think.

I dreamt that I had been in some sort of accident and the accident had killed me,
however for some reason I had a certain amount of time to stay on this earth with my
body still intact. I told the people that I loved that it was so, I made decisions to go
places that I can't go because of where I am in my life right now, and I was
very happy.

Until I woke up..

I woke up and I didn't quite snap out of my dream for a few minutes, I was
absolutely terrified. I cried and I thought of all of the people I was leaving.

I've been thinking a lot about the things that I did in my dream, because usually
in dreams we do very irrational, nonsensical things that have no place in reality.
This dream was realistic in the fact that the things that I carried through with
are things that I truly desire in real life.

I don't know what that means, but I've been very thankful this week, and I'm trying to
make everyone in my life feel loved.

love always,

Jacob

First two film photographs are that of my own, including the portrait of myself at the end.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda, didn't.

Well let's see, I haven't posted anything in over half of a year. But here's my life.

I'm happy.

That's all folks.

Ps, Here's some photos I uncovered in my old closet from a few years ago.

Moses, his toses are roses

at the lake with a few friends, soaking up the gorgeous, but temporary, sun

Wow, in the past month I've finally found where I'll be staying in Vancouver, a beautiful bed and breakfast owned by my aunt and uncle with bookshelf doors and a turquoise kitchen. I've pushed myself very far in a few aspects of my life, including physically, mentally, and in the ways of l-o-v-e. Love.

Life is moving fast, and I am loving every second.

I just went and purchased a couple of books, because it's been a while. One of them is Ernest Hemmingway's The Sun Also Rises. I am very excited to read this one and I have already begun the first few chapters.

Whoever may read this, I want you to know that you can't run from your life, no matter how far, no matter what country, or ocean you cross, life doesn't appear in a foreign place. It appears right in front of us when we're ready to open our eyes and discover it.

always,
Jacob

I've acted out my life on stage.

So this summer I wanted to do something big, you know, before being tied down again for another few years.

So I decided on Europe.

I was going to travel to Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, possibly England(mostly to visit the Royal Opera House), Holland, and wherever else I desired while I was there. However, little did I realize that the money I was supposed to be accumulating at an increasing velocity was not happening. So about a month ago I planned a different trip. Europe will come next year when I can work and make much more money then I already have.

San Francisco

(Open your golden gate, you'll let nobody wait outside your door)

That last sentence probably made no sense if you aren't a fan of Judy Garland, but anywhoo.

Beautiful city, fantastic food, great people, and also a music festival I'm now attending as well.

It's called Outside Lands. There is a million bands and artists playing but instead of me listing all of them, my favourites performing are:

Sia Furler, Erykah Badu, Ellie Goulding, Toro y Moi, etc.

For full info just google it.

Beyond excited for this next couple of months.

always,

- Jacob
