Well, I've officially celebrated Graduation Banquet with the gowns and penguin suits and all that. It was an absolute blast and I couldn't have possibly had a better time. All the people I celebrated with looked immaculate, and I felt fantastic.
The whole day and night consisted of lots of fabric, lots of food, lots of desserts, lots of standing, and lots and lots of sore faces from smiling.
The "after-party", shall we say, was even better. good people, good campfires, and just a good time.
I know this is a very vague explanation of what actually went down, but let's just say yesterday and last night was the first time I realized just how much I was going to miss some of those I went to school with, for some, for the last 12 years or so. I'm certainly not going to miss everyone, but as this year came to a close, I have to admit, my heart has grown heavy with many people inside of it.
Thanks to all who made this chapter in my life a beautiful, unforgettable one, and certainly one filled with smiles.
